Nice wreath lightsI bought and used these lights for the 2021 Christmas season (November '21 - January '22). They worked very well and have an excellent variety of settings. I would recommend them for inside or outside use. They work well outside on a bush or mailbox. I used them outside on a 4' x 4' bush. Our 2021 November/December was warmer than usual and we got rain instead of snow. These lights had no problems being out in the rain. In fact, I read another review that said they were not waterproof, so I enclosed the battery case in a plastic sandwich bag with a twisty tie. That worked fine until I changed the batteries and didn't tighten the twisty tie enough and the entire bag filled with water the next time it rained! The battery case sat in a full bag of water for days until I discovered it and the lights continued to work fine, and have worked fine, ever since. January was much colder than normal and the lights did fine in 20 degree (F) weather as well. The light bulbs are clear and the color comes from the LED. I used the timing program (6 hrs on, 18 hrs off). Once you set it they come on at the same time each night and automatically go off after 6 hours. Using this option with the combination mode the 3 AA batteries lasted for about 3 - 4 weeks. After that, they start to dim a bit and if you have them on a flash mode, the flashing slows down a little. They are bright and have very nice color.I needed these for a small wreath on the front of my deck and they worked, just not as well as I was hoping. The lights are not bright enough even though there is a dimmer switch where you can make them lighter or make them brighter. They just didn't get bright enough. And the timer never worked. No instructions on how to make the timer work. I tried multiple different things and nothing ever worked so I had to turn them on every night and turn them off every night using the remote. It was okay but not what I was hoping for.Put in my fake hanging plant and looks nice.You do have to point it directly at the remot within a couple feet to get it to work.I had low expectations but these are actually really great! Timer works perfectly. Lasted about three weeks before I had to change the batteryWe could not have been happier with our battery operated string lights from Koxly! They are perfect for trees, garland, or adorning some garland and our picnic table dressed up for the holidays. The timers are an excellent way to set the lights to go on and off for as long as you need to have them on regular display. The remote worked seamlessly and placing the lights away from the home and with the timer, never needed to walk out and turn on with the remote or activate on the strings themselves. as you can see from our photos, they are bright enough on their own and are not washed out by other lights such as spotlights or scone lights on the porch. We used them for over a month, daily, and only at the tail end did we need to change out the batteries. AND, they survived snow, sleet, rain, and a somewhat severe ice storm. In fact, the battery box was in a pool of water in a planter, that froze but the lights worked as expected throughout, before thawing. I highly recommend these lights, especially love batteries and no need for any unsightly extension cords to trip over or accidentally get disconnected. We are thinking of using as accent lights in the Spring/Summer/Fall for trees and around our patio.I've bought many from different companies and was not happy so when I received these I was thrilled! Instead of buying a pre-lit wreath I added one string to this 32" wreath. They are bright and in the picture, have been on every night for one month using the same batteries. The remote is a fabulous feature (no going out in the cold!).The blinking and other features are nice but I prefer no blinking. The green wires and battery box are easy to hide and blend right in. I'm glad I saved money by adding them to an old wreath... I will use these throughout the year on other decorations and in the summer on the porch! A great find and value!
