This is one of the best purchases I've made through Amazon, and I've bought a lot of stuff from them over these past many years. Here are the facts on this umbrella. It was inexpensive compared to its quality. It's outside in the SoCal sunshine everyday. I use the solar lights every night we're outdoors without fail - and we spend a lot of time outdoors. That's the short of it. Okay, it's an umbrella. What else can I say? Just this; the wind blew pretty hard one afternoon, and the umbrella left its stand, fully open, and flew to the far side of the pool, landing on its canopy, where it sunk to the bottom of the pool. I came home to see the umbrella's pole sticking straight up out of the water. Not good, right? Long story short: no damage. Period. No bent or broken ribs, the crank works, the solar panel works and believe it or not the lights still work. This thing was submerged completely. When I retrieved it, water was dripping from every seam, every light bulb, the On/Off switch. If there was a place for water to get in, water got in. I didn't expect it to come through an aerial somersault into a pool unscathed, but it did. For $77? Are you kidding me? This thing is da bomb.I was very excited to receive this umbrella. It worked great and was a wonderful addition to a newly remodeled patio. The umbrella was used for less than two months and then was put away for the winter. I ordered an umbrella cover for proper storage and hung it up in the garage. Sadly when the umbrella was removed about a week ago, it was completely faded out. It is a light blue/gray color and not the vibrant color that it was when I purchased it. I will be contacting the manufacturer regarding their warranty. I would not recommend this umbrella to my friends.Had this umbrella for 15 months. Nice umbrella at first. Solar lights quit after about a year, fabric faded and the rope that is attached to the crank broke .Florida weather is tough on outdoor products mainly due to the heat and sun exposure. The umbrella was outside all the time since we have sunshine and pleasant weather all year round. Would have liked to have gotten more than a year from this product for what we paid. We have had less expensive umbrellas (without the solar lights) last longer.I purchased this umbrella at the end of the season last year, and just put it into use several weeks ago. Had I written my review soon after installing it, I probably would have given it 4 or 5 stars. The pole seems strong, the angle adjusts easily, and the solar lights work. However, I was disappointed that there was no tie on it for securing when it is closed, a problem I solved with a bungee cord. In addition, today when I was putting it down, I noticed that it is already beginning to fade where the folds were exposed to the sun, although it hasn't been in use for even 3 weeks. This is indicative of poor quality in the materialn and I suspect by the end of a very short summer it is going to have a shabby appearance. What seemed like a good buy apparently was not.I was really happy with this umbrella for about two weeks but the first day a decent 20 mile per hour wind kicked up, something snapped in it. Too big and cumbersome to return to the company and I've jury rigged it with a bit of duct tape to stay straight again - the solar lights still work and are a lovely effect...just wish it would've been a bit sturdier. Also, a feature that would be appreciated it some sort of strap or something to keep it tightly closed when retracted would help.Umbrella works great! I love the included solar lights! Only note is that "blue" color which looked like a lighter to medium blue, is actually a dark blue navy color. It doesn't make a difference to me - I just hope it doesn't fade too much! The lights came pre-charged somehow - so at least I know they work!Love this LED umbrella! The lights are bright & the material of the umbrella seems to be a better water repelling material than most umbrellas.Unfortunately we forgot to let it down prior to a surprise summer storm & the wind carried it away & broke it near the crank. We emailed the seller to try and buy a replacement part & they replaced the entire umbrella for us at no cost. That is wonderful customer service & a wonderful product! Thank you!!!Got the blue, very disappointed that it faded in only a few months of mild SoCal weather. Keep it closed most days hoping to extend the life of the fabric, but now when I open it its an embarrassing tie-die. Despite being closed, stuck thru a table, & screwed into a base, the pole bent after a night of only mild wind. The lights work great though, last many hours & descent ambience.I bought this umbrella in May. I only turned the lights on 3 times. The 3rd time they wouldn't go on the first time I flipped the switch. The second time they did go on. Last night I tried turning them on, but they wouldn't go on. I always close the umbrella at night and never open it in heavy winds. It also receives ample sunlight, so I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the wiring. I am not too pleased considering the price for a faulty product.I am so happy I ordered this umbrella. I took my time in deciding which one to buy as I wanted it to last. This one is very good quality and the lights work great on it. The fabric is very good and I have had no issues with it. It has some weight to it and it is not flimsy at all. The color is exactly a true navy blue like the picture. The only thing I would say negative, is that it does not come with a tie on the umbrella so when you are done with it you cant tie it off.This was a pleasant surprise. We had looked around for patio umbrellas and the cost for what you get was crazy. When I found this online I purchased not expecting to much. It was cheap in price and offered more than the ones I could get locally. When it came though it is built very well and the led lights look beautiful when there on. When there off you don’t know they are there. Used it all summer and it looks like it will lastWell I loved this product for the first few uses and then the knob that allows the umbrella to tilt or stay upright broke and now the umbrella is a giant pain to open and close and it doesn't stay upright. I loved everything about this product until it was clear that the metal they used in manufacturing is extremely flimsy. I do not recommend this product. :(This would be 5 stars if the umbrella was the color in the picture. It is closer to a navy color but still a nice quality product. The inside is almost black so I was a little disappointed in that. I liked what was in the picture.
