Update: after writing the review below, Ring customer support reached out to schedule a call. After determining that something was wrong they agreed to send me a replacement. In a little over 24 hrs the replacement showed up. So I guess I’m good for another 2 years.The motion detection has never been great, but I synced it with a couple motion cameras and it did the job. Until about a month ago it got really dim. Then a couple days ago it would flash twice when it was told to turn on and stay off. The app says it’s health is 100% and fully connected. Even says that it is on after the double flash even when it isn’t. The event history seems accurate. Shame, it should have lasted longer. I’ll replace with something else, hopefully that something else’s motion detection won’t need my cameras.
