Bought these for my two stick up cams for the exterior of my house. I had them set on battery saving modes to reduce charging frequency. With those settings I had to charge about every three months. The batteries take about 8 hours to charge when removed and plugged in to an outlet. It doesn’t take much time out of my day but I’ve been doing it for over three years and I have grown tired of it. I decided to finally try some solar panels. These worked immediately after plugging them in. One camera was at 11% and charged to over 50% with 5 hours of sunlight. By 2pm the following day the battery was fully charged. I turned up the settings on both cameras to the highest settings and the batteries stay at 100% all day. I saw some reviews say their cameras no longer sensed movement. That isn’t a problem for mine. Both cameras are working just as they did before installing the panels.
