Did the jobPurchased these because they were considerably more affordable than the last set of solar lights I purchased and though those lights are over a year old, they stay on longer than these new ones, even in the dimmest setting. Wouldn't recommend these if you need them to stay on through the night. I don't have much hope for these lasting longer than a year. One of the pairs didn't have a charge to it but fortunately, it worked after a day charging in the sun. Also, I purchased the warm white light and these are more white than yellow compared to my older set.The lights work as described and are bright. However, the box says "no batteries needed" but the instructions show how the batteries are replaced. The operation of the switch is not described. The stake does not lock into the lights and the lights wobble on the stake. For the price it is a good value as long as you ignore the above.These are devices of good design and quality. They charge the batteries even during rainy days and emit really strong beams. They are quite different from other decoration toys.We put these around our backyard for the kids. They change colors automatically. They make a fun pattern on the ground around them. Our kids want us to get 2 more packages to light up more areas. We think they are fun!The light is veru shutle and perfect for outside. Solar pannel is pretty big so dont worry about the power for the light.
